We invite you to share with us the privilege of enjoying the natural beauty of Komiza. We invite you to our home, apartments of villa Donika, which our ancestors acquired through hard work at sea and in vineyards. Apartments were renovated in 2012 and 2013, while preserving the traditional sentiment of 450 year old walls.
Originally, villa was the part of the residence of Benedictines order, which was, at the time, surrounded by defense walls used to protect it from the enemy. Today, with narrow streets and small squares, it is the friendliest part of Komiza . We are located at the center of Komiza, 20 meters from riva, where one can find restaurants, shops, cultural events and dozens of small and beautiful sailing boats and yachts. Here you can experience a true Mediterranean sensation.
The closest beach can be found 100 meters away! In addition, further towards the west or east one can find numerous beaches which can provide peace and relaxation. Next, restaurants, cafes, stores, tourist agencies and bakery are all located 20 meters away! Finnaly, ambulance, pharmacy, fish market, bus station and even barber shop are located less than 200 meters away from our home.
Coastal city of Split can be easily reached by car, train or plane. New highway and an international airport can be used for speedy arrival to Split. There are everyday ferryboat lines (2 hour and 15 minutes) and speed boat lines (1 hour and 30 minutes) between the coastal city of Split and the harbor of Vis. Harbor of Vis is 10 kilometers away from Komiza, which can be reached by car, bus or taxi service. Also, there are ferry and speed boat lines between island of Hvar and Vis. In addition, ferry line operates between Pescara, Italy and the harbor of Vis. Conveniently, taxi boat and car service is available to take you to the furthest parts of the island.
